Jimmy Ardinger
Executive Chef

Jimmy is a self-made, accomplished chef within his own right. Here at Elliotts he is known as the "Soup Master" of the kitchen.

Born and raised off the western Potomac River of Williamsport, Maryland, Jimmy enjoyed fishing off the Potomac River and sampling the many delights of Baltimore's Little Italy. He worked in the family Deli business as a youth and moved away from the Maryland area to pursue a career in the kitchen.

Jimmy has worked in various restaurants throughout the Southeast such as "The Best Cellar" in Blowing Rock, NC and "Hamilton's at First & Main" in Charlottesville, VA.. Within these established restaurants Jimmy worked beside many experienced chefs of which his culinary knoweledge, technique, and creativity grew.

Jimmy began work at Elliott's on Linden in 2004. Working alongside Chef Mark Elliott, his preferred culinary style of Classic French was encouraged and cultivated. Through Jimmy's mastery, he has become an inspirational, culinary force behind the lines.

Today, Jimmy's culinary style is not only influenced by the chefs around him, but his family and relatives throughout Maryland, Kentucky and North Carolina. He has a great repoire with the local farmers and brings their beautiful bounty to the table with a freshness and flare to be enjoyed by those who dine with us.
